Harry Styles & Meghan Trainor song writing: Wrote a love story
In random news of the day: One Direction's Harry Styles has written a love song with Meghan Trainor.
The All About That Bass singer confirmed the news on yesterday's Radio 1 Breakfast Show. She told Nick Grimshaw (who just happens to be Harry's BFF) that she and Hazza wrote a song together.
"Yes, I wrote a song with Harry. It was unbelievable. He's a very, very talented songwriter - I was very impressed."
Meghan also told The Sun about their little writing sesh, saying the pair had written a "cute acoustic love thing" on her ukelele.
"We even recorded a rough demo together with our vocals," she said.
"I was worried he'd just be a 20-year-old boy, so I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics," she continued telling The Sun. "I was like, 'Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.' "
Well, it sounds like he impressed Meghan - but it's not the first time that Harry Styles has shown off his songwriting skills. Harry frequently writes for One Direction and he also wrote a song for Alex & Sierra called I Love You with producer Johan Carlsson.
Will we ever hear this Meghan and Harry masterpiece? Don't hold your breath, she's only just released her album and it's sans a Harry Styles writing credit.
