Lifetime Unveils 2023 Holiday Movie Slate Including The Bear-Inspired Rom-Com and an

“It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” is right around the corner. Lifetime‘s annual holiday movie event kicks off Saturday, Nov. 18 with 12 new movies, airing every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas.
While last year, the lineup included 26 new films, this year’s slate leans into nostalgia and reunions. Highlights include Vivica A. Fox and Jackée Harry co-starring in “A Christmas Intern,” Teri Hatcher in “Christmas at the Chalet” and “Ladies of the ‘80s: A Divas Christmas,” starring Loni Anderson, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, Donna Mills and Nicollette Sheridan.
The network also leans into “The Bear” popularity with “Yes, Chef! Christmas,” starring Tia Mowry, Buddy Valastro and Luke Humphrey.
The movies also include multiple original songs, including one from Tiffany, performing the “Ladies of the ‘80s” theme song, and original songs from Jackée Harry, Tatyana Ali and Max Ehrich.
Beginning Oct. 13, 60 beloved holiday titles will be available on the Lifetime website and app. New premiere movies will be available the day after premiere on TVE/VOD. Lifetime Movie Club will offer 44 library titles beginning Oct. 20. Holiday Movie Favorites by Lifetime (FAST Channel) kicks off on Nov. 1.
In addition to the “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” lineup, Lifetime Movie Network will air their holiday movie on December 7. “Silent Night, Fatal Night” follows best-selling mystery writer Mallory Dearborn (Alex Camacho), who wants to end her long-running detective franchise, against the wishes of her manager Michael (Matthew Pohlkamp). In a desperate move, he decides to take her prisoner. After convincing the world she’s died, he forces her to write a posthumous novel over the holidays.
