Tolmach and his eponymous prodco have toggled between mega-franchises and streaming shows, taking full advantage of the industry’s insatiable thirst for content. Just this year, he set up the Apple TV+ series “Dark Matter” and is in post-production on “Dark Harvest” for MGM. He also produced “Fate of a Sport,” an ESPN doc about lacrosse star Paul Rabil. Tolmach continues to play a key role in some of Sony’s biggest franchises. After producing “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and its sequel “The Next Level,” he’s returning to that fantasy-action world with a third “Jumanji” outing. He also produced Marvel’s “Venom” and “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” and is developing a third entry in the series. Building on his work in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, he is producing “Kraven: The Hunter,” featuring the Marvel anti-hero and Peter Parker nemesis.
