A new NHS dental practice has opened in Gloucester.
The centre is based in Lister House, Station Road and will be staffed by eight full time dentists.
The practice will offer routine NHS dental care for all patients and emergency care.
The opening of this practice, one of the largest in Gloucester, means more than 22,000 local people will be able to access local NHS dentistry.
Plans are also in place to open a further practice in Quedgeley later in the year..
People are being told NOT to just turn up to register, you need to call 01452 303 983.
Jan Stubbings, Chief Executive of NHS Gloucestershire, said:
“This is part of our ongoing commitment to invest in NHS dentistry and provide services as close to home as possible. It builds on the opening of two new practices in Cheltenham and Cirencester in September and additional practices last year.
“We know from feedback that access to NHS dentistry is important to people in the county and together with providers, we have been making positive strides in expanding the availability of services for the benefit of patients.”
