Zoe Saldana Loves Her Masculine Way of Thinking

She’s a glam fixture on the red carpet – but Zoe Saldana says she feels most comfortable off it because she’s a tomboy at heart.

“If you want to punish me, send me to get a manicure or pedicure, or dress me in a skirt or shorts, and I would die,” the Avatar star, 31, tells Siempre Mujer magazine in its April/May issue.

And forget the designer duds and gowns, Saldana, Hollywood’s queen of science fiction, says she feels “sexy, feminine and powerful” in jeans and a button-down blouse. “It has to do with my personality,” she says. “That’s why I think I’m very attracted to men who are masculine but in tune with their feminine side.”

Part of her personality, she explains, is her “very masculine” way of thinking.

By way of explanation she says during her upbringing, “My sisters and I spent all our time amongst men. We were very popular with them.”
